Island Echos by Vacasa

"So we was here back in the spring 2025 . And was in 7B the room was just amazing. Everything you need and might need is there. Workers was just awesome. It was super quite at night . You could open the windows and just fall asleep to the waves . Price was unbelievable for that it would have cost me for just 4 days at a hotel I got a week here. We will be going back forsure this fall . And will be back again and again . My whole family just loved it .."

"This place was nice and very close to the beach. The amenities were also nice. The two elevators smelled like urine the entire time during our 4 day visit though which was very unpleasant. We ended up using the stairs often to get to our rooms because of it. At one point it seemed as though they did try to clean the elevators but the smell lingered with the added odor of cleaning products and air fresheners."

"We have been to the Fort Walton Island Echos several times over the years. We always enjoy our visit. We book through Vacasa and they make it easy. The rooms are affordable and have room types to fit most travel party sizes. Each room is decorated differently with a fun beach theme. Each room is stocked with the necessities and toiletries. We love being beach/ocean front with direct access to the beach. All of the units we have stayed in are clean and nice. The staff does an amazing job at keeping the common areas clean. If you are planning a trip to Destin/Fort Walton I highly recommend booking at the Island Echos. The views are stunning from the private balcony and located near the airport and all of the fun to-dos."
