The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"The Island is nice, I've stayed there twice. However both times we couldn't get the TV to cast videos as advertised. They sent people out to fix it and they were kind but ultimately it didnt help the issue. During the summer the pool & beach are great they have events often. During the winter, the beach is nice to see but cold. They still had things to do. Really appreciate my time here."

"Was in an older part of the hotel, but it was renovated. Beds were soft and comfortable. Housekeeping came daily and we were pleasantly surprised when they made the bed. That was very appreciated. We never ran out of towels and the trash was taken out. Location is wonderful close to food and attractions. Location is amazing there is a private beach out back. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was comfortably hot in the chilly October mornings."

"Do not stay in any building but building D. The door did not shut completely. Music blaring and people out till late and it all started at 8 am. We tried to change rooms but never got a call back. I will never stay here again. Edit: When my family arrived back to the hotel our room was graciously upgraded for the remainder of the trip. The staff was kind and helpful making sure that we are now staying in a comfortable, clean, quiet room."
